A garden that belongs to the island.

A Mediterranean garden is not a lawn with palm trees. It follows a rhythm of its own – and forgives the wrong care for a summer or two, no longer.

On Mallorca, everything begins with how you handle water. Too much irrigation harms olive trees and Mediterranean shrubs as surely as too little; a badly set drip line is only noticed once a plant is already lost.

We tend gardens the way they thrive here: pruning each species at the right time, checking the irrigation regularly and adjusting it with the seasons, and planting so the garden survives the summer without daily attention.

That includes everything around the garden too: paths, terraces, lighting, fences and the areas that quickly become a fire load in summer. Dry cuttings near a slope are not a cosmetic issue on this island.

We tell you in advance what the garden needs. Larger work – a tree that must be cut back, an irrigation system that needs replacing – is agreed with you before anyone picks up the shears.

Typical tasks

  • Regular lawn, hedge and shrub cutting
  • Tree care including olives, citrus and palms
  • Checking, cleaning and setting the drip irrigation
  • Seasonal adjustment of irrigation times
  • Feeding and plant protection as needed, not by the calendar
  • Replanting and Mediterranean redesign
  • Cleaning paths, terraces and outdoor surfaces
  • Removing cuttings and cutting back on sloping ground
  • Checking and repairing the exterior lighting
The benefit to you

What this gives you.

01

The garden is always presentable

Even if you decide to come at short notice. You let us know – and the grounds are as you want to see them.

02

Less water used

Irrigation that is checked and correctly set saves a noticeable amount of water and is better for the plants.

03

Mature planting survives

An old olive tree cannot be replaced. The right cut at the right time is the best protection there is.

04

Less risk in summer

Short-kept ground and cleared cuttings reduce the fire load around the house.

05

One point of contact

Garden and irrigation run on the same systems as the pool and the outdoor areas. We think about them together.

06

Predictable costs

Regular care costs less than restoring a garden that has been left to itself for two summers.

Common questions

How often should a garden on Mallorca be tended?
Usually weekly in spring and summer, considerably less often in winter. We set the rhythm to suit the planting and the size of the grounds, and adjust it with the seasons.
Do you take on redesign work?
Smaller changes and replanting, yes. For a full garden design we work with landscape planners and coordinate the work for you.
What about the irrigation system?
Checking and setting it is part of the ongoing care. Repairs and extensions we carry out ourselves or coordinate – always agreed with you first.

At a first visit we will tell you plainly what looks good, what needs attention and what can wait.
